Amanda Page
Web Coordinator, Researcher & Email Specialist

In 2003, Graphicus Communications gained an international member when Amanda Page, an Australian national, joined its ranks to manage online research and web services coordination, including email and hosting for our clients. Her husband, Jeff, came aboard later in the year to provide Internet services, web design, and IT support. Together, they now head Graphicus’ Website Development Division.

Amanda develops site-plan flowcharts and detailed business rules for all aspects of new and existing websites. She conducts web- and domain-name branding, including domain-name research and purchasing. Amanda also serves as the website administrator of client websites such as that for Ocean Yachts and Mahogany Company. It is her responsibility to communicate with clients in order to update or change those areas subject to site-authoring.

Amanda had a wide and varied career in Australia, ranging from chef to Software Testing Systems Coordinator. In 1984, she started her working life keeping the books and selling John Deere tractor parts for a small country vehicle dealership. She then moved to her State’s capital, and worked from 1985-1989 in the sales tax section of the Australian Taxation Office. Her duties included tax assessment and reconciliation.

Feeling the need to stretch herself creatively, Amanda studied for and gained a Commercial Cookery Certificate. She traveled around the State cooking in various restaurants, in positions ranging from Sous to Head Chef, planning menus and supervising other cooks and kitchen staff. Following an economic downturn, she returned to Public Service in 1991, this time working for CentreLink, Australia's Department of Social Security. She worked her way up through the ranks and moved to the National Office in Canberra, Australia’s capital, in 1996. As Software Testing Systems Coordinator for a national debt collection system, she honed her existing organizational and supervisory skills.

Amanda Page moved with her husband from Australia to Millville in 1998.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys gardening, cooking, knitting, crocheting, beadwork, quilting, reading, listening to music and filling up the TiVo with cooking shows and CSI reruns. She also volunteers with The Millville Womans Club and is on the Board of Directors of Levoy Theatre Preservation Society.
