Flagship Resorts

In 2003, The Flagship Resort (together with its sister properties, The Royal Suites at the Atlantic Palace and LaSammana) presented Graphicus with an uncommon opportunity: to build three distinct marketing, identity, and communications programs “from the ground up” for these multi-million dollar enterprises. The Flagship and Royal Suites had been in operation in Atlantic City since the mid-90’s, but their marketing to prospects and their communications with more than 30,000 time-share owners lacked cohesiveness and invention. In late 2003, LaSammana was undergoing major modifications to transform a beachfront hotel to a vacation ownership property in Brigantine.

Beginning with the design of a powerful architectural icon for the resorts and the introduction of a promotional theme (Don’t Just Take a Vacation, Own One), Graphicus began to recreate (and, in some instances, create) the myriad of sales and communications tools required by large-scale service businesses. By February 2004, the agency had already produced a monumental website for Flagship … was developing sites for Royal Suites and LaSammana … had created lavish sales presentations for Flagship and Royal Suites … a $150,000 museum-quality display for Flagship … published three issues of Navigator and Vacationer – the resorts’ quarterly newsletters … and authored a marketing plan and PowerPoint for LaSammana. In 2004, the agency looks forward to producing additional sales materials, exhibits, and promotional packages for the three properties – all unified by the themes elaborated at the start of the campaign.
